Poland’s Jerzy Janowicz, who has been hit by injury, will almost definitely not take part in the French Open Grand Slam showdown, the star’s mother has said.

“It’s 99 percent certain that [he] will not play in Paris," Anna Janowicz told Poland’s PAP news agency.
Jerzy Janowicz is currently in 104th place in the ATP rankings, which guarantees him a place in the French Open in Paris without having to go through the qualifiers.
But he has been struggling with a knee injury since the autumn.
"There’s five weeks left to the French Open. That’s not much time to get into shape,” his mother added. (pk)
