Kamila Dolniak was apparently under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident, according to Boston police.
“The incident was a case of intoxication, and was not related to terrorism,” police spokesperson David Procopio noted in a written statement.
A fellow passenger claimed that it had appeared as if Dolniak was having a panic attack when she tried to open the door.
The 32-year-old is now facing a charge of interfering with a flight crew. (nh/di)
